
The North Coast area is noted for its outstanding natural beauty and within the Castlerock area are many scenic walks to enjoy including National Trust areas and unspoilt golden sandy beaches. Local attractions include Hezlett House, Mussenden and Downhill Demesne, Dunluce Castle, the Giant's Causeway, Carrick-A-Rede Rope Bridge, Whitepark Bay, Bushmills Distillery, Ballintoy Harbour and the coastal towns of Portrush and Portstewart, all of which are within easy reach. The Foyle ferry which takes you from Magilligan to Greencastle, Co Donegal, is also only a 15 minutes drive away.
The cottage itself is located in a quiet development less than half a mile from the sea front and local amenities which includes shops, cafes, pub, the golf course and play park as well as the local Translink station. A 10 minute drive will take you to Coleraine where there is an even wider range of shops, supermarkets, cinema, leisure centre, swimming pool, ten-pin bowling, indoor play areas, restaurants, bistros and theatre as well as the tourist information office.
